Fantasy bust of the day 7-30
July 30th, 2007
Well, its fantasy football season again and BSS is here with the info you need. This is part 4 of a series detailing sleepers and busts.

Randy Moss - WR Patriots (click more to find out why)
Randy Moss is being drafted at an average spot of 42.2 overall in espn drafts, which is 9th among receivers. Even as a long time Patriots fan who likes Randy Moss, I can see this is lunacy.
Moss is one of, if the not the most physically talented receivers in the game today and is joining a contending team that many are speculating will motivate him to become his old self. Randy Moss the superstar playmaker that was the #1 WR in all of fantasy.
The problem isn't Randy Moss, the problem is the Patriots system. Tom Brady throws the ball around to every possible target rather than focus on his go-to-guy. 11 Patriots got 100+ receiving yards over the 2006 season, a . Despite having an elite QB like Brady, only 1 player has gotten 1000+ yards during his tenure (Troy Brown during Brady's first year as starter)
I happen to think Randy Moss will help the Pats a great deal, and his acquisition from a fantasy standpoint makes Brady a top 3 (fantasy) QB.
I do think Randy Moss will be the first Pats WR to break 1000 since Troy Brown, I just don't think he will perform as a #1 WR for you, but will make a decent #2.
