Why not start of with the most obvious one?

So here’s a little history

Andre-Jacques Garnerin made the first successful parachute jumps from a hot-air balloon in 1797. This concept was soon adopted by the military who saw it as a way of offering aircrews an escape option in the case of emergency. This was later developed into a less hazardous way of delivering soldiers to the battlefield.

Of course now-a-days the activity is safe and cheap enough to be recreational. If you’re the kind of person who fancies being droped out of a plane, here’s a few of our favourite dives.

Mt. Everest Dive
In October 2008, a group of individuals landed safely on the highest jump zone on Earth (12,350). For $36,500, applicants, including amateurs, became part of skydive history and benefited the children’s charity Global Angels along the way. The jump has now become an annual event.
